Woke up at Sleepy Hollow Sleepy House

9:07 This is the 2nd time I have had to enter all of todays journal. My computer is on the blink. 3 months old.

Another rainy day thank the rain gods for coming through again. I did notice that a bunch of the Black Poppies I am sprouting from seed are sprouting.

9:07 Decide to make another SilverFly. I have the time and the thing works when I test it at board level with volt / ohm meters and such, but when I hook it up to the sequencer board I made it doesn't work right. I seem to remember this same thing from days ago/ Deja. Vu. Damn Donny & Chanel sleep from 9:00 until the 12:25 PM I am leaving. I thought I was bad. That is 15+_ hours.

12:25 Landlord Craig is heading into San Rafael and give me a ride to the Airporter and catch the 1:00 bus.

Dumb: The notes tickets forms they use for boarding passes and notes for travelers don't have Virgin's Phone number on it. I just wanted to know, my flight shows 1.5 hours late and what is the latest I can check in? Finally get their 800 # and the agent doesn't even know puts me on hold and asks her manager and gets back and says I should

funny: Some signs at the airport

If Something Is Counter Closed It Means It's Open?

2:00 While in line to check in I overhear my agent say that she is sad because nobody wants to see her dance. I say youi can dance for me and that makes her day.

Only Happy People Can Work For Virgin.

Our flight is 1.5 hours delay and hoo-humm. Decide on coffee and speaking with the barista, it is real dead at the airport, off season I guess. I buy a mocha and tell her I work for coffee roasters and she insists she make me a cappuccino so I can see how good their coffee is. Pretty good.

The whole place is very high tech (except our reservation computer was down and they filled out boarding passes by hand. Of course they took my tiny new $20 Swiss Army knife at security X-Ray. Duh. They also kind freaked and went through my bag. I had tons of chargers, batteries, etc.., They took a swatch sample of the inside of my pack. Yuckyness

Waiting in the line of the tarmac to get on the plane was like waiting in an alley of a hip night club for the door man to let you in. The cabin glowed like black light and the steward was the doorman. The place is like a club inside. The fliers are very young and it shows.

The inside of the cabin was also very hip. Didn't feel at all like an airplane, more like a nightclub. Every seat had its own entertainment center where you can watch your own TV, movies, listen to hip music, lots of Electronic that I like. Order food ro drinks. Free Cokes & Coffee.

The entertainment center I had crashed and had to be rebooted by the stewardess. Lots of stuff crashing today. I hope not jets.

Funny: They had to reboot the whole entertainment system for thew whole jet when we took off. It took 10 minutes to reboot. I wonder how long it takes to reboot the whole jet, a week?

The flight went quickly, 5.5 hours and I wasn't Jonesing for a cigarette. It was fun, watched some Comedy Central. You can see where you are on a google map on the screen, elevation, speed, outside temperature -61 degrees. Plane was almost full. Worked on my journal and had it done. M laptop was on the blink again and lost it, Save, save, save is my new mantra.

Now it is almost 1:00 AM and not express bus. Going to take a train to the subway and run into a lady waiting for the train. She saw me in SF and went there for her first time. She is going to Manhattan and we split a cab $55 including tip & bridge fair. She may look me up tomorrow. She was sweet, young & beautiful and her name is Colleen. Works for insurance annuities.

1:00 Check in at The Big Apple Hostel ($40) on 45th St ½ block from Broadway. Not lots to do here at Times Square, everything is closed, except bars.. Get a slice of pizza, yogurt parfait & coffee ($9). Work on journal and walk around Times Square a bit.
