8:45 Mom goes to church. It is not really church, she is Unitarian.
10:30 She is back & I Give Moms yet another computer / Internet lesson. Mostly going over and over what she has learned and a sprinkle of new things to confuse her even more. Her retention is not good, but she can do it. Wish I could stay for another week. It would be real nice if sister Betsy gives her a couple of brush up on lessons a week when she is over to visit.
I start working on a manual going over what I have taught my mother. Including screen shots and highlighted sections of buttons / form fields / etc.... This is a bit of work and should help.
11:30 Head over to Farr's sporting goods down the street and they quickly sharpen the skates ($5.50) and we drive to the Charter Oak Park Skating Annex. I am surprised there is no one skating. PenguinMan was sad, because he was hoping to perform for the usual kids skating.
It is lightly snowing still. PenguinMan made his entrance and did some skating. He had a great time, hadn't skated ion 15 years and that was at the rink in Union Square San Francisco. The ice was real smooth and there was about ¼ inch of snow on the surface. After a little skating my legs were sore already. The calves. Determined my skates were loose. Only skated about 5 minutes. I was out of shape, it was lightly snowing and my mother should get home.
Mom attempted to take photos. I don't know why she could not see anything in the LCD screen on the camera. I could no problem. She said she could only see her own reflection. I told her just to keep shooting and out of about 20 shots there were about 3 OK ones. I wish there was a 5 Y/O kid there to take photos.

Not
As Bad As It Looks
As soon as I get back in the car I feel dizzy, almost nauseous. Mom drives over to Stop & Shop and buys food. I sit in the car. We get home and someone picks her up to go see a play at The Hartford Stage Company, To Kill A Mockingbird (Thank god it is not Penguins) I sleep for an hour and a half. Feel much better thank god.
I rode bike to the store and get a roast. Terri is supposed to make some dinner for some company. I get a real nice 3 pound Rib Roast ($30) and some granola, fruit, etc... Decide to save the roast for tomorrow and cook it either at Terri's house or here. It will be real yummy this time. Last week's roast was way overcooked.
5:00 Mom is back and she is tired. A long day already for her and rest for over an hour. I work on my computer and order a pizza ($20). Betsy comes over and we all have pizza.
7:00 Another lesson for mom. She does pretty well on her own but I do help her go over things like creating a new Tab. I work on my journal.
10:10 Expecting 6” plus snow tonight. That means I will not make it out to Putnum CT tomorrow to the fiber optic factory I was hoping to meet with :(
2:05 2 miles bike riding
